The production of Jargar viola strings is based on a special, flexible steel core, like the violin strings. All viola strings (A, D, G, C) are wound with thin threads of metal-aluminium, copper and different alloys. The strings produce a big, powerfull, distinct and well-balanced tone. The G and C strings also come with an upper winding of pure silver, which makes the sound more like that of gut strings. Tsese strings are more expencive than the standard strings, and they are called Silver.
Forte: red colour in ball end and blue colour in peg end.
However, viola D is always brown in the peg end and viola G and C, Silver are always yellow in the peg end.
The Forte strings are a little thicker than the medium strings.
