EXALTATION can be defined as a feeling of extreme happiness but can also mean the action of elevating and praising someone. REFLECTION can mean a serious thought or consideration of something. In spiritual terms, exaltation refers to us praising and worshiping God and giving Him supreme honor and glory. Reflection, in spiritual terms, refers to serious consideration of God’s character, His creation, and the gratefulness of His gifts to us.  The music in this album, among other things, expresses both the exaltation and reflection of our Creator--even the music that would normally not be performed in a worship service.  In these works, certain movements that are dynamic and sublime can portray exaltation, while soft and tranquil movements can portray reflection.  (Neil Stipp)
